About Me

For me, meaningful work is rooted in genuine connection and walking beside others during their most vulnerable chapters. This philosophy initially guided me through a long and fulfilling career as a special education teacher and school leader. My time in education was far more than a profession; it was a commitment to nurturing families and advocating for those in need. Following my retirement, I wanted to continue on a path of service and care. Having navigated the passing of both my parents and my husband, I understand the complex landscape of loss—the weight of sudden decisions, the physical exhaustion of caregiving, and the emotional tides that rise long before a final goodbye. I know how heavy these moments feel when you are carrying them alone. Transitioning into my role as a death doula felt like a natural extension of my life’s work. My goal is to provide a sanctuary of peace, helping families face these final transitions with dignity, clarity, and unwavering support. My years in education gave me with the ability to listen deeply and advocate with grace, while my personal experiences with loss have cultivated a spirit of empathy and patience. Today, I combine these two paths to offer you a presence that is both professional and profoundly personal. It is my privilege to show up for you, offering a calm harbor during life’s most delicate transition.
